The aim of Divestock is simple - to offer independent, specialist photographers and picture agencies a simple way to get their images in front of potential customers. The Divestock website will make it easy to publicise your image library and draw traffic to your website by showcasing your work alongside that of carefully selected and vetted colleagues from the global photography community.

When will Divestock be launched?

Divestock is already accepting registrations but will launch publicly as a public beta in January 2008.

Will I have to pay to use Divestock?

Any photographer or picture library can be listed on the Divestock website for free provided you meet certain quality control criteria listed below.

Will I be eligible to join?

In order to participate, you will need to have had a fully operational photography or stock picture website for more than six months and meet a set of quality control criteria details of which will be published nearer the launch date.

What is the Divestock API?

An API or application programming interface is a mechanism by which different computer systems can communicate with each other using predefined rules. When Divestock launches, it will offer integration with Pixaria Gallery via a simple API.

In order to make use of the Divestock integration in Pixaria, you will need to enter your Divestock user name (the e-mail address you registered with) and your Divestock API key (found on your account page) into Pixaria Gallery's general settings control panel.
